The Spruce Grove Saints are proud to announce 19-year-old forward Zach Losier has committed to the Saints for the 2024-2025 season.
Losier (pronounced: low-ze-eh) joins the Saints after spending the 2023-2024 season with the Merritt Centennials of the BCHL. The Niagara Falls, Ontario native posted 16 goals, 7 assists and 58 penalty minutes in 40 regular season games.
General Manager Rob Sklaruk sees upside and opportunity in Losier joining the Saints by saying “Zach started last season very well before battling injuries. Now that Zach has had time to get healthy, our staff believe Zach will add scoring to our powerplay and a heavy physical game with offensive creativity to our line up. There’s lots of opportunity for Zach to grab a key role on the Saints next season, something we fully expect him to embrace.”
The 6’1”, 198 pound left shot power forward has a strong physical game coupled with scoring touch, which should make him a fan favourite of Saints fans immediately.
Losier looks forward to pulling on the blue and gold Saints jersey after saying. “I am incredibly honored to become a Saint. I’m super excited about the journey ahead and eager to get started.
